How do I connect my SkyEcho to RunwayHD.

Ensure the SkyEcho is fully charged and switched on.
In iPad/iPhone:
    Settings/WiFi  and connect to SkyEcho
    Connection message 'No Internet'
In RunwayHD:
    Settings/GDL90
    Enable GDL90             ON
    Use GDL90 for GPS    OFF
    Altitude Filter                25000ft

    Show ADS-B                  ON

    Show FLARM                 ON

    Status will change to 'connected'
If a message 'Loss of GDL Data' appears:
Ensure iPad is in close proximity to the SkyEcho.
In iPad, check Settings/Privacy/Local Network/RunwayHD ON

On the map screen you should see green Aircraft tagged with callsign, altitude and speed. Often, these will only be Airliners at higher altitude.
Reset Altitude Filter to 2000 / 3000ft before flying.

Upon Landing

       Enable GDL90           OFF

Note.  Not all Aircraft are equipped with conspicuity devices. And of those, RunwayHD will only show modes of contact received by SkyEcho. Due to different frequencies and modes used by different conspicuity devices this will not be all Aircraft. Your SkyEcho is only an aid no substitute for looking up and out.
