Ensure the SkyEcho is fully charged and switched on.
In iPad/iPhone:

Settings/WiFi and connect to SkyEcho
Connection message 'No Internet'
In RunwayHD:
Settings/GDL90
Enable GDL90 ON
Use GDL90 for GPS OFF
Altitude Filter 25000ft
Show ADS-B ON
Show FLARM ON
Status will change to 'connected'
If a message 'Loss of GDL Data' appears:
Ensure iPad is in close proximity to the SkyEcho.
In iPad, check Settings/Privacy/Local Network/RunwayHD ON

On the map screen you should see green Aircraft tagged with callsign, altitude and speed. Often, these will only be Airliners at higher altitude.
Reset Altitude Filter to 2000 / 3000ft before flying.
Upon Landing
Enable GDL90 OFF
Note. Not all Aircraft are equipped with conspicuity devices. And of those, RunwayHD will only show modes of contact received by SkyEcho. Due to different frequencies and modes used by different conspicuity devices this will not be all Aircraft. Your SkyEcho is only an aid no substitute for looking up and out.
